The access control for REDY (see automation section) enables 4 functions:

• Building, room or parking access by controlling a strike, electromagnet or barrier lift.
• Arming and disarming of intrusion and/or technical alarms
• Activation of various processes such as lighting on/off, heating start/stop, etc.
• Staff presence notification.

These functions are performed by 3 elements:

• The Badge or Code (called "key") unique to each person.
• The Decoder & Reader assembly that reads the key and transmits data
• The controller manages the functions to perform according to the presented key.
